Pegah Behbehani is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#18073) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Her passion is to help people overcome personal crises and achieve deep healing and personal success. Her new journey began when she immigrated to Canada and decided to radically shift from her career in business and industrial management to one that was more meaningful and served others. As an immigrant, she had to overcome many challenges. Through this process, she learned to connect with her inner strengths and developed insights into the untapped potential that we all have to gain strength from our setbacks and to thrive from them. Pegah has a long history of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. In addition to a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Adler University she also has both a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering. Pegah has two decades of international experience in business and management settings as a software programmer, systems analyst, management consultant, and human resource specialist in different manufacturing organizations as well as her role as a Teacher Assistant and academic researcher at universities in Iran. Her passion for research inspired her to publish a book about Iranian Entrepreneur Organization: IT Domains in Tehran. Pegah draws from a variety of therapeutic approaches including Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Act Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Bowen family systems therapy, Narrative therapy.
